Support Details

The program comprises two main components, aiming to provide immediate relief while fostering sustainable, long-term livelihoods:

  • Livelihood Support: Provided to 3 households (Ms. Tran Ngoc Quy, Ms. Dang Ngoc Trung, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lua). Each household receives 5,240,000 VND, of which 3,240,000 VND is allocated for building chicken coops and 2,000,000 VND is used to purchase breeding chickens and initial feed.
  • Wheelchair Donation: Provided to 3 households (Ms. Dang Ngoc Trung, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lua, and Mr. Huynh Than An). Each receives 1 wheelchair valued at 1,500,000 VND to assist with the mobility of family members with disabilities.
The total budget for this program includes 15,720,000 VND for livelihood support and 4,500,000 VND for wheelchair donations.

Joining Hands to Spread Love

Alongside the 3 households supported in this phase, many other Agent Orange victims in Ca Mau Province and various localities are still awaiting livelihood capital to achieve long-term stability. SMC calls upon generous benefactors, kind-hearted individuals, and organizations to join hands in contributing to the fund of the "Am Tinh Yeu Thuong" Charity Club. This will ensure that upcoming support programs can be implemented soon, providing a sturdier foundation for families still facing difficulties.

This initiative is part of the ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) chain of programs through which SMC continues to partner with the "Am Tinh Yeu Thuong" Charity Club moving forward.
